"The Babysitter: Killer Queen" is a fun little science fiction book. It's an enjoyable read, but not one that will wow you with its storyline. I mean, the plot is entertaining enough, but it doesn't really grab your attention like you would find in a book called "The Princess and Mr. Whiffle". I would rather read a book with a storyline that grabs my attention and holds my attention until the end of the book instead of something that comes and goes.
Two years ago, when Cole and his friends faced a satanic cult led by his babysitter, Bee, he once again must outsmart the forces of dark evil. This time the cultists have captured the teenage girls of Bee's community. But this time it's not the Bee that's in charge but the Babysitter. Bee is not amused by this turn of events and plans to use her power to rule the whole community. But before she can do that, she needs to recruit an army to take on the Babysitter. To do this she will need the help of her babysitter.
As the story unfolds we learn that Bee has been captured by the cult and is held captive in their basement. She's been there for two years, and Cole's friends are trying to get her out of there. They are not sure that she is really a good candidate for the position of Babysitter because she isn't very experienced. Her best quality seems to be her ability to manipulate the other girls into doing her bidding. She is known to have manipulated the rest of her group to do what she wants. In addition to this, she is quite loyal to the group, but that's about all she has going for her.
Meanwhile, a mysterious figure known only as the Killer Queen is also searching for the real Bee. She wants her kidnapped so she can take over the colony and kill off all of the other girls, leaving only her. She will use her power to rule the colony.
But before the Babysitter can be captured and put on trial, she must find and defeat the Killer Queen and take control of the colony. Before doing this, she needs to enlist the aid of another female, the mysterious Agent 5. The two of them are part of an elite team, the "Goddess Brigade".
The book's plot is quite predictable. But, if you're looking for something that has a good storyline, a fast-paced plot, and is also entertaining, I would recommend you read this book.
